Happy Birthday to my sister Linda who turns 50 today! Back home now and Megumi is quite bruised and battered. Our livingroom has turned into a hospital ward. Can't comment too much in case of legal issues. The interesting thing is that I have only posted the news here so my entire facebook community is obvilious to the news.
Stopped by my union office and find my job has unofficially been given away and is just waiting for the grievance to end. C'est la vie. I am also applying for other jobs that are non-musical to try to get a full time job, something that has eluded me for several years now. Read a neat quote about holding on to anger being like drinking poison and expecting your enemy to die. Thoughtful message provided George Takei via facebook! I am aware that several rallied to try to save my job and I am quite moved by that-Thank you!! Was the leave worth it? Sometimes I think "yes", often I think "no". Part of the grand journey I guess. Perhaps a new opportunity lies awaiting somewhere else??
I have been thinking about this blog as well. I suspect that few of you are interested in reading about my job issues so I think I will update pictures and songs but for the most part, I will let this blog die an ungraceful death. A few few new songs to come out of Europe but none as energetic as the ones from the Canada trip.
What is with the catepillar investation in Prince George these days? They are everywhere!!!
