I can't even remember why I came to the Ciarus Auberge but it turns out the online booking was incorrect and there are lots of rooms. Other than being sleep deprived, the thing that sold me was they will hold my bike here while I go to Berlin. So, I've washed the stench of rejection and futility off me and I'm enjoying the comfort of being dry! Rain stopped around noon and there are some nice parts of town here. Flocked like the swallows of Capistrano with the other 300 tourists and checked out the Gothic Cathderal Notre-Dame. The outside is stunning and it almost seems alien it's so distinct. The inside had some nice stained glass windows too.
Eager to get a good night of sleep. Roommate is an Indian guy who is a doctor studying on the town I'm heading to in a week. I can't imagine there are too many Indian doctors living in the small town. Big day of museuming tomorrow. Have put out the call to Berlin for spots to stay but no takers yet. Still have an overnight on the train so lots of time left Berlin!
