It's funny how random meetings of people can be so positive. Often, I'm tempted to just tent in the country somewhere instead of taking the time to meet people but since I'm here to converse, I should force myself to do so. I was very happy to have stayed with Abgelique who was a Montessori teacher who was English Immersion teacher. She welcomed me with a warm shower sign on the side of her house. Angelique loved to talk and was very animated. Because she is a kindergarten teacher, I suspect she loves the chance to talk to adults when she can. She invited her friend Martine over and we had a great dinner of crepes and salad and cheese and ice cream. What a treat! Angelique and Martine and very, very funny. Lots of laughs! I also got the chance to play some piano which was wonderful. While we ate, we listened to Opera singers they both loved. So many talented people out there. They were both going to perform a concert the next day and said they were so nervous, they were going to per their pants! It was said a little more crudely and I now have more vocabulary I can't use at school! :) Later, I played guitar while Angelique filled in a melody on the piano- very nice! Exhausted after such a long night, had a very, restful sleep!
